Love "Clueless"? Watch the California singer-songwriter channel Alicia Silverstone in her latest clip.

Colette Carr, the 22-year-old pop songstress with a penchant for rapping her mind, is preceding her debut album "Skitszo" with a quartet of EPs released in two-month intervals. Her latest single, "Never Gonna Happen," has been given a stylish throwback clip -- and you can watch it before its official premiere on Thursday night (Apr. 4), exclusively on Billboard.com's Pop Shop:

The Spice Girls poster, hamburger flip-phone and Talkboy recorder all indicate that the "Never Gonna Happen" music video belongs to a different era. In fact, Carr's latest clip can be directly tied to 1995 -- the year "Clueless" hit U.S. theaters. If the shopping montage and yellow plaid didn't already shout "Cher Horowitz," the "Clueless" poster on the back of a jean jacket does the trick.

"The best ever is when you get work with your friends," says Carr. "I had an incredible time working with my homies/producers Martin 'Cherry Cherry Boom Boom' Kierszenbaum and Fernando Garibay on 'Never Gonna Happen,' and neighbors/directors TalkBoyTV. I think you can feel the positive vibes in the track."
